LocationTalent.com™ views everyone who performers in front of the camera, on the airwaves or on stage as, "TALENT". We welcome actors, stunt performers, dancers, singers, musicians, background performers (extras), models, specialty performer's, and voice over talent to join us.
To get started, simply click on any link that reads:
- JOIN NOW or REGISTER on any page (then click on the tab or button that describes you, TALENT, AGENT/MANAGER, CASTING DIRECTOR, CREW)
- Fill out information sheet and accept terms and conditions.
- Set Location. Choose the location in which you would like to be listed.
- Personal Data. Fill in your ethnicity, age range, union affiliation, representation, etc.
- Resume. Click on the browse tab, choose the file, then click upload.
- Images. Click on the browse tab, choose the file, then click up load.
- Media. If you have chosen the Professional or Star packages, click on tab to browse, choose file, then click up load.
AGENTS/MANAGERS
We want to make your job easier because we appreciate how hard you have to work, to gain exposure for your clients. We are currently working on this area to provide you with your own web page and profile.
To get started, simply click on any link that reads:

- Fill out information sheet and accept terms and conditions.
- Set Location. Choose the location in which you would like to be listed.
- Personal Data. Fill in your company info.
- Resume. Click on the browse tab, choose the file, then click upload.
- Images. Upload photos or company logos. Click on the browse tab, choose the file, then click up load.
- Media. You will be able to use this area to up load videos of any kind including clients auditions.
Once you enter our database, casting directors, producers and directors will be able to find your talent in a matter of minutes.
TOOLS AVAILABLE TO YOU, THE AGENT/MANAGER
Agents, you can now build a file for your submissions right from the web site. Much in the same fashion one builds a "shopping cart" at a retail web site, you can create a list of talent to be sent to whom ever you choose. Here's How.
- Pull up your client list by clicking on MY CLIENT LIST after logging in.
- Select the individuals that you want to submit for for a particular role by clicking on the Quick List box found on each actors profile page.
- After selecting all those you intend to submit for that role, click on the VIEW QUICK LIST link to the left.
- All these selections will show up in a separate thumbnail.
- Now click on SAVE THIS QUICK LIST.
- A window will open saying … AS A NEW LIST. Place the name of the role (or the role and the project) in the window and click SAVE (if you have other existing saved lists, it will ask you if you want to add these submissions to any others that may already exist, which you can at any time).
- Once you have named it, Click on SAVE THIS QUICK LIST.
- Now under MY SAVED LISTS will appear a link with that name.
- To send that list as a submission, click on the list.The page will reload and reappear but this time with red remove from saved list circles on each profile. Of course is for the casting director, not you.
- Now click on Email this list.
- A window from your email account will open with the name of the saved list in the "subject" window of the email. In the body of the email will appear the following …Please consider my talent at the enclosed link for your project _________ and the role of _______ link will appear here. You can also type whatever else you would like to say to the casting director in the body of the email.
- Address the email and send.
- Repeat process for other roles.
ONCE THE CASTING DIRECTOR RECEIVES THE EMAIL - The casting director will click on the link which will open to the thumbnail page on the website. There they can view the pictures and resumes (and demo reels if applicable) for all being submitted.
- As they view the talent, the casting director can click on the remove from saved list button for anyone whom they DO NOT want to see.
- Now the list has been edited and will appear so in the agents files. An icon will appear saying UPDATED on the agents saved list for that role. It is automatic. However...
- The casting director can also click on email this list opening their email window with a link to the new, edited list. The casting director now places whatever additional message they would like in the body of the email, like; Please call for times for these actors for the role of ________, then send email.
- The agent will receive the edited list and call to set up times for those actors.
Please see how this same procedure can happen in reverse when the casting director takes it upon themselves to search for and REQUEST submissions from Agents below in the CASTING DIRECTOR section of this USER GUIDE.
AUDITIONS
For those of you who have to tape auditions and "overnight" the tapes to a casting director outside of your area, with an account, you have the ability to upload clients auditions right to your LocationTalent.com™ page and send the link to the casting director. Then simply email the link.
CASTING DIRECTORS Locationtalent.com™ has created a tool where casting directors can find talent in any location before ever leaving their office, if they so choose.
To get started, simply click on any link that reads:

- Fill out information sheet and accept terms and conditions.
- Set Location. Choose the location in which you would like to be listed.
- Personal Data. Fill in your company info.
- Resume. Click on the browse tab, choose the file, then click upload.
- Images. Upload photos or company logos. Click on the browse tab, choose the file, then click up load.
- Media. You will be able to use this area to up load videos if you choose.
HOW THE SITE WORKS FOR YOU The site actually works two ways for you. You can receive submissions form agents for roles via the site or you can create your own lists or requests to see talent by using the search component. We will first address the latter.
- Choose the location in which you want to conduct your search, country, state, city OR zip code, from the search window. NOTE: ALL SEARCHES WILL DEFAULT TO WITHIN A 300 MILE RADIUS. If you would like to reduce the radius, simply type in the distance (number) in the box provided.
- Using either the QUICK SEARCH (a broad, fast search) or the ADVANCED SEARCH (more detailed and specific) features, enter the search criteria for the role(s) you are casting.
- After your search has been conducted, a thumbnail will appear with all talent matching your search request. NOTE: Actors from several different agencies will come up.
- Click on the profile of any talent that you are interested in and there you will be able to view the talent's photo's, resumes, sizes, special skills and most important, their demo reels if they have chosen so.
- To select a talent to audition, click on their QUICK LIST box found on every talents page. This adds them to the file you are creating.
- Once all of your selections have been made for that role, simply click on VIEW QUICK LIST, which will bring all of your selections up into a thumbnail list.
- Now click on SAVE THIS QUICK LIST.
- A window will open saying … AS A NEW LIST. Place the name of the role (or the role and the project) in the window and click SAVE (if you have other existing saved lists, it will ask you if you want to add these submissions to any others that may already exist, which you can at any time).
- Now under MY SAVED LISTS will appear a link with that name.
- To send that list to the agents requesting more information or an interview, click on BULK EMAIL/CONTACTS.
- A new page within the web site showing all the chosen talent and their rep's contact info will appear. It will list the name and email address of the person sending the email (the casting director). The rep's addresses are already in place. If the casting director wishes to CC or BCC anyone, they merely need to fill in the addresses in the provided windows.
- Simply fill in the subject box. The Talent's name (or list of names if they share the same contact) will be referenced on the first line the body of the email. Place any additional info that you would like to send in the “message” portion of the window i.e. .. "Please call to arrange times for these actors”.
- Then click SEND MESSAGE and the email will be sent to all the chosen talents respective agent alerting them of your wish for an interview.
Likewise, agents can:
- Create a submission list
- Email it to you
- You peruse it, remove anyone you do not want to see
- Click on email this list sending it back to the agent asking for appointments to be set up
- And your done!
- You can also create lists to save for future projects when you see a talent not right for this project, but whom you would like to see on another.
TOOLS AVAILABLE TO YOU, THE CASTING DIRECTOR
- On each talents page a note pad exists on which you can record your thoughts or comments about the talent you are viewing. These notes will remain on that talents page as long as choose. Only you can see these notes.
